These are used to re-transmit all information received at the radio In port using the radio Thru port connections. Often these ports are used to create a chain of connected devices in a single radio data path, called a 'daisy chain'. Some devices, commonly computers, do not have a dedicated radio Thru port. Instead they use a software radio Thru port that shares the same physical radio connection as the radio Out port.
