Good quality, how to tune sound equipment, how and why to be fair and honest with singers and clubs, and how to run a popular, upbeat show. Few inexperienced ones do. But there are heavily promoted companies out there who hire inexperienced hosts, give them mediocre equipment and piss-poor music selections, and offer them to you at a great price.
